Kylie Bax was born January 5, 1975, in Thames, New Zealand. She grew
up on her parents' horse-breeding farm in Thames. Kylie was first
discovered in a New Zealand shopping mall by an agent from Clyne Model
Management. Kylie has also followed in her mothers footsteps as she to
was a supermodel.
After discovering her modeling potential in New Zealand, she soon
boarded a plane bound for New York in order to make it big as a model.
Kylie became Karl Lagerfeld's prot?g?e, as he convinced her to crop
her hair short and dye it blonde. With her new "boyish looks" but
still very feminine, Kylie went to study with Steven Meisel.
Kylie (now single) has allegedly been involved with Donald Trump,
Jayson Williams, Sheldon Souray and Pamela Anderson's former boy toy
Swedish male model, Marcus Schenkenberg. She has also dated another
former lover of Pamela Anderson's, Tommy Lee.
Like most models nowadays, Kylie is branching out of modeling to
pursue an acting career. She appeared in The Big Tease and Get Over It
with Carmen Electra.
International Fame
Once discovered Kylie became a international modeling success, she
signed with Women in New York, Marilyn in Paris, and Storm in London.
She has graced countless international magazine covers, including
Vogue, Marie Claire, Harper's Bazaar & Mode Australia, Maxim, Vanity
Fair, ELLE and Sports Illustrated. she has also appeared on more than
20 Vogue covers around the world.
In 2000, Kylie joined a list of beauties like Estella Warren, Veronica
Varekova and Michelle Behennah, in Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Issue
of 2000.
Kylie has also graced the cover of Playboy magazine , Kylie took it
all off for the magazine, and promised that her shoot would feature
some of the magazine's raciest photos.
Kylie has appeared in campaigns for international products such as
Club Monaco, Anna Sui, Clinique, Ann Taylor, DKNY, Escada, Gianfranco
Ferre, Giorgio Armani, Louis Vuitton, Oscar de la Renta eyewear ,
Sonia Rykiel, and Versace.
She has walked down catwalks for high fashion houses such as Moschino,
Oscar de la Renta, Chanel, Christian Dior, Christian Lacroix, and
Valentino.
Filmography
Kylie has also had various roles in film, with appearances in 1999's
Storm Catcher and The Big Tease. She also appeared in the 2000 comedy,
We Married Margo, as well as, Jill Rips that same year.
She then moved on to teen films, with a role as a Victoria's Secret
supermodel in the romantic comedy, Boys and Girls, along with fellow
models Ines Rivero and Kristy Hinze. In 2001, Kylie and Carmen Electra
appeared in Get Over It, starring Kirsten Dunst.
